We hosted our annual Open House for Prospective Families on Sunday, November 3, and it was an amazing day! The classrooms and hallways were buzzing with excitement about the Montessori materials, co-curricular activities, and students’ preparation for high school.
Our alumni tour guides impressed our visitors with their communication skills, enthusiasm for learning, and executive functioning skills; all developed during their time at ASM.
Thank you to our current parents and staff who toured families around the school and helped paint a picture of the ASM experience. Our visitors left with an understanding that this is a special community; one that they would like to be part of someday! We received several applications following Sunday’s event.
A special thanks to our students who showcased their work in the classrooms. Prospective families were amazed at the students’ excitement to be at school on a weekend, and even more impressed at how focused they were despite all the activity around them.
We heard from several attendees that current families had referred them to ASM. It takes a village to highlight all that ASM has to offer, and we’re so grateful for our community members who support our efforts!
