Before School Care Teacher

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Before School Care team for the 2026-2027 school year. The hours are 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and nurturing environment that includes an assortment of materials, games, and activities suitable for a multi-aged group. Candidates should have experience working with children, a friendly disposition, and strong communication skills. Hourly rate: $20. Spanish Teacher

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.

The ideal candidate will teach classes for first grade through grade seven in a Montessori setting. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Spanish language, education, or a related field; native or near-native proficiency in Spanish; prior experience teaching Spanish, preferably in a Montessori environment; a deep understanding and appreciation of the Montessori philosophy and educational approach; the ability to develop engaging and culturally enriching Spanish lessons for students of varying proficiency levels; and excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students and colleagues. As the Spanish Teacher, you will have the opportunity to introduce students to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture through immersive and experiential learning experiences. Hourly rate is $36. Substitute Teachers

We are seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers for preschool through grade 8 for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidates should have completed some college coursework, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and have some experience working with children. Upper Elementary Teacher

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a qualified and collaborative full-time Upper Elementary Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years teaching experience, preferably within a Montessori environment. Montessori Upper Elementary certification (ages 9–12) is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and materials, strong classroom management and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative teaching team. Strong written communication skills and a passion for creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom community are essential.

We are seeking an educator who is enthusiastic about fostering curiosity, independence, and a love of learning through hands-on, student-centered instruction. The successful candidate will value collaboration, maintain strong communication with colleagues and families, and support the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child. The salary range for this position is $50,900 – $64,900.

Lunch, Recess, Nap, and After School Care Teacher

Andover School of Montessori is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Lunch, Recess, Nap, and After School Care team for the 2026-2027 school year. The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:30/6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, during the academic year. In this role, you will support the classroom (ages 3-6) during lunch, recess, and nap time, providing warm and encouraging guidance during this period of their day. In the after school portion of the day, you will provide an engaging environment with age-appropriate activities for children.
