Andover School of Montessori is pleased to offer one and two week courses that allow students to immerse themselves in art, culinary, language, STEM,  theater, or wellness-related courses. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in hands-on projects while developing new skillsets. A highly qualified professional instructor teaches each group.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations 30 days prior to the first day of a program, ASM will provide a full refund. Alternatively, you may transfer enrollment to any other program at no charge, if space is available. Within 30 days of the program, only transfers are permitted, if space is available.

No refund or reduction in fees is possible for a child who arrives late, leaves early, or attends part of a session.

Behavior Policy

At Andover School of Montessori, we hold the tenets of respect, kindness and integrity in the highest regard, expecting all members of our community to embody these values consistently. These principles are the foundation of a safe and nurturing atmosphere, essential for fostering a supportive environment where every individual is given space to feel safe and thrive. Similarly, we uphold these standards within our camp programs, ensuring that all participants contribute to and benefit from a community where mutual respect and considerate interactions are valued. By prioritizing these behavioral expectations, we create a harmonious setting conducive to learning, growth and overall well-being of our camp members.

Removal from program decisions are made at the discretion of the instructor and the Head of School. If a student is not able to participate in a safe and productive way, or if the teacher feels that the student is not engaging at a level appropriate for the program, the instructor may ask that s/he not return to the program. Refunds will not be provided for students removed from the program due to behavioral issues.

FAQs

How do I now which program my child is eligible for?
Identify the grade your child will be entering in September 2025 and select the corresponding program.

Where will the programs be held?
All students should arrive through the main entrance. They will be directed to the appropriate classroom.

Do I need to bring lunch and snacks for my child?
Yes, students should bring two snacks, a water bottle, and a lunch that does not require refrigeration. All food must be peanut/tree nut free.

What if I need to pick my child up before the class is over?
Please inform the front desk at drop-off if you need to pick up your child early. Students must be signed out by an adult who is listed on the authorized pick up form. If your plans change, please call the front desk at 978-475-2299.

Do you have a nurse on staff?
We do not have a nurse on campus during the summer. Administrators are certified in CPR and First Aid and EPI-Pen training.

Creative Kids Art

  • Grades: Kindergarten – 1

The Creative Kids Art program offers a vibrant learning experience for those who are passionate about animals, nature, and artistic expression. Participants will draw inspiration from their surroundings and their own creativity to develop an array of exciting 2D and 3D projects. Throughout the program, students will explore various artistic techniques, including sculpting, painting, weaving, and printmaking. Engaging projects will feature the creation of personalized stuffed animals, the design of trendy t-shirts, and experiments with the sun’s power through cyanotypes and suncatchers. Weather permitting, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature, utilizing the beautiful outdoor environment to enhance their artistic journey. At the Creative Kids Art program, the fusion of nature and art opens up endless possibilities for young artists.

Minecraft Architecture: New Worlds

Melody Makers: Boomwhacker Ensemble

This exciting and immersive summer program will inspire creativity and foster a love for music! Students will compose and perform their own original music using Chrome Music Lab. Participants will embark on a creative journey, exploring the entire process from brainstorming and concept development to the final performance. Throughout the course, students will refine their editing skills and collaborate with their peers to bring their musical visions to life using vibrant Boomwhacker instruments. The program will culminate in a captivating performance, inviting friends and family to celebrate and enjoy the students’ unique creations.

Einstein’s Workshop presents an innovative summer program that seamlessly integrates technology, creativity, and robotics! Students will explore modern “making”; learning how to harness computer art and design programs to create stunning visuals and artwork. 

As participants immerse themselves in the world of creation, they’ll dive into the exciting realm of robotics. We’ll start with the basics of building and movement, using what students have learned about design to enhance their robotic creations. As they progress, participants will tackle advanced topics like navigation, sensors, and programming the robot to make autonomous decisions. By utilizing LEGO’s intuitive building system alongside design skills, students will bring their unique ideas to life while learning how to code commands through easy drag-and-drop software.

ASM Players: Theater Program, Jr.

ASM’s summer theater program offers students an enriching experience in the magical world of theater combined with practical life skills. Einstein’s Workshop provides an engaging summer program where students will dive into the fascinating world of physics through a series of entertaining and educational hands-on experiments. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of key principles, including Newton’s First, Second, and Third Laws of Motion, as well as the Law of Gravity. In this dynamic class, students will design and construct exciting projects such as marble runs, catapults, and air blasters, allowing them to see physics in action.

Ready, set, take off! We’ll also explore aerodynamics as we create and test a variety of flying inventions, including paper airplanes, rockets, kites, and parachutes. Through these interactive activities, students will explore the forces that govern movement and flotation, all while having a blast with their fellow young scientists. Entering into the wonderful world of art will help participants discover a love of artistry in a whole new way!
