Last week, our annual Student Council elections concluded after a wonderful display of leadership, creativity, and community spirit. Students across the Elementary and Middle School levels worked hard to design thoughtful campaign posters and deliver inspiring speeches to their peers, all with the shared goal of making ASM an even better place.

This democratic process emphasizes the importance of each student’s voice and helps cultivate a sense of responsibility among our future leaders. The Student Council will play a crucial role in proposing new initiatives, organizing events, and addressing student needs throughout the school year.

At our All-School Meeting on Friday, we proudly announced this year’s elected representatives. We are so proud of all who participated, including the candidates who demonstrated courage and enthusiasm throughout the campaign and the voters who took their civic responsibility seriously when selecting their representatives.

This week, the newly elected Student Council will hold their first meeting, where they will begin defining their roles and responsibilities and brainstorming ideas to strengthen our school community throughout the year. This important process empowers students to take an active role in our school community while developing essential skills such as leadership and public speaking. We look forward to seeing their leadership, collaboration, and creativity in action!
