Director of Elementary and Middle School

Andover School of Montessori (ASM) is seeking a Director of Elementary and Middle School (DoE&MS) to begin July 2023.  The DoE&MS ensures that the school’s learning objectives and curriculum are understood by teachers and realized in the Elementary and Middle Schools classrooms.  S/he is responsible for the supervision of all Elementary, Middle School, and Integrated Arts faculty, and will provide professional support in the Montessori Method and all curriculum, incorporating contemporary educational pedagogy as appropriate. The Director of Elementary and Middle School is a member of the ASM Leadership Team that contributes to strategic planning and efforts to maintain accreditation with AISNE and AMS. Overarching  responsibilities include constituent relations, administration, educational programming, personnel, school culture, finance, and other duties as assigned by the Head of School. Experienced Montessori certified Children’s House Teacher

ASM seeks an individual with at least 2-3 years of experience as a lead teacher in a Montessori classroom. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and Montessori (AMS or AMI) 3-6 certification. In addition, candidates should have a passion for working with young children, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a commitment to thinking flexibly, technical fluency, and the ability to collaborate with a co-teacher as well as with other colleagues. Learning Specialist

Andover School of Montessori is seeking an experienced Learning Specialist with a Master’s Degree in reading, learning differences, special education or similar field to work in a private school setting with pre-k through middle school students. The Learning Specialist should have experience with children who have language based learning disabilities and provide instructional support to students through offering organizational and time management strategies and teaching effective study skills. The Learning Specialist will work closely with teachers, program level directors and Head of School to provide and help implement strategies and learning plans to meet the needs of the individual students. Physical Education/Health Teacher – Part-time

Andover School of Montessori seeks a part-time Physical Education/Health Teacher for grades K-8.  The PE teacher creates a learning environment in which students thrive socially and physically, and challenges them to reach their full potential. The candidate should possess a deep understanding of physical fitness, sports and exercise, and have the ability to motivate students, be an effective communicator and implement best safety practices. Substitute Teachers 

We are seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers for preschool through grade 8 for the 2022-2023 school year. Candidates should have completed some college coursework, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and have some experience working with children.
