Middle School Humanities Part-time Teaching Position

Andover School of Montessori, located in Andover MA, is seeking a passionate, creative teacher who has the desire to design and deliver a project-based Humanities curriculum suitable for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and has the ability to utilize various teaching strategies effectively. This part-time position will begin in the 2025 – 2026 school year. 

The position offers a unique opportunity to work with a small group of students, with class sizes ranging between 6 – 10 students, allowing the teacher to provide differentiated instruction and build meaningful relationships with each student. The candidate should have strong writing and communications skills and a solid understanding of history, language arts, and the vast genre of literature connected to various historical events. 

In addition, Andover School of Montessori is proud to participate in the Montessori Model United Nations, which provides students with a unique opportunity to engage with global issues in a meaningful way. This program is not only an enriching experience for students but also a wonderful opportunity for a teacher to guide and mentor students in this impactful area.

Substitute Teachers

We are seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers for preschool through grade 8 for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates should have completed some college coursework, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred, and have some experience working with children.
