This year marks a remarkable milestone in the life of Andover School of Montessori. ASM is turning 50! For five decades, ASM has been a place where children grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. It’s a place where curiosity is encouraged, independence is nurtured, and community is at the heart of everything we do.
Founded in 1975, ASM began with a vision of education that honors the whole child, academically, socially, and emotionally. Today, that vision continues to thrive across every classroom, from our youngest learners in Children’s House to our Middle School leaders. Our commitment to Montessori principles and child-centered learning has stood the test of time, and our 50th anniversary is a chance to honor our past, celebrate our present, and invest in the future.
As part of this celebration, we are thrilled to invite our entire community to a very special event: 50 Years of Montessori Magic; ASM’s 50th Celebration on November 1, 2025. This formal evening will bring together alumni, current families, faculty, staff, and friends of ASM for a night of connection, storytelling, and joy. There will be a live and silent auction, opportunities to support our Founders’ Fund for Teaching Excellence, and plenty of surprises along the way!
This event and the entire 50th anniversary year is more than just a celebration. It’s a testament to the strength of the ASM community. It’s a moment to reflect on the impact our school has had on generations of learners, and to recommit to our mission for the decades ahead.
We are deeply grateful to our founders, the Pedini and Peck families, along with the many parents, faculty, alumni, and supporters who have shaped ASM into the thriving community it is today. We hope you’ll join us throughout the year, whether in spirit, in celebration, or in support, as we honor 50 incredible years of Montessori education at ASM.
Here’s to the next 50 years! Let’s keep the Montessori magic alive, one joyful, curious child at a time.
